In just 2 weeks, Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, but for now, we get to hear reactions from people lucky enough to view the first 30 minutes of the Epic film, 10 years in the making! PLUS, Pre-Sale records and more Avengers news!
EARLY REACTIONS
Marvel Studios held a viewing in London last week, and the consensus was: It’s quite funny! Digital Spy on Twitter:
“We’ve just seen 30 mins of #AvengersInfinityWar. Can’t say too much but it’s way ambitious, it’ll switch tones between different groups (the Guardians sequence had a very different, look, feel and soundtrack to the New York scenes) and it’s going to be funny. Still no Hawkeye!”
One would imagine the balancing act at work here: a fractured Avengers team, mixed in with Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, The Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther and the Warriors of Wakanda, PLUS, the film’s villains; some familiar, but most, unfamiliar. Well, slightly familiar if you’ve been paying attention to the bits and pieces of cameo we’ve been given of this really intimidating, purple-skinned, alien figure looking to collect the all-powerful Infinity Stones!
Already from what we have seen in the explosive trailer, characters will be facing battles in several locations and on many different levels.
RECORD BREAKING PRE-SALES
Pre-sales for tickets have set ground-breaking numbers, reported today by Fandango via their Twitter:
That’s quite an accomplishment, but again, considering the expectation and early positive buzz, there’s no stopping this juggernaut anytime soon!
LIKE A “FAMILY”
It also doesn’t hurt that the stars of the film, the largest collection of characters in a shared film universe, seem to actually get along very well, almost like a family!
You can see the affection they have for one another and this clip helps define the chemistry we end up seeing on the screen.
