Award winning writer Victor Lavalle has been announced as the next write to join the X-Office.
His joining the X-Office was low key slipped into AIPT’s 100th XMEN MONDAY (kudo’s to AIPT’s Chris Hassan for that smooth maneuver)
LaValle brings with him a writing pedigree that includes nothing less than a Bram Stoker Award, a Nebula award as well as a Hugo Award which readers may be interested to know is for a novella titled…wait for it… The Ballad of Black Tom (unrelated but amusing nonetheless) he has also written the highly acclaimed OGN DESTROYER for BOOM! Studios
LaValle revealed this in the AIPT interview:
LaValle took to Twitter not long after the article published to confirm:
Well this is a fun way to share that I will be joining the world of all things X-Men in the future.
The young me and the middle-aged me are equally geeked. https://t.co/TjH9NrLaE7

No confirmation or announcement has been made at this time from Marvel as to when and who LaValle will be writing in the Krakoan era but stay tuned.
