History has been made with BLACK PANTHER nominated for Oscar and will it make history again as an Oscar winner
Black Panther has earned an Oscar nomination and a victory for all superhero movies as the first to be nominated for best picture at the 91 st Academy Awards.
And the good news keeps coming for Black Panther as that is just one of 7 nominations for the superhero from Wakanda. The nomination includes best production design, best sound mixing, best sound editing, best costume design, best original score, and best original song.
Marvel doesn’t just have one hero to be proud of with several of their other film making it on to many of this years nominated list like Avengers: Infinity War receiving a single nomination for Visual Effects, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse received a nod for Best Animated Film, and Solo: A Star Wars Story made it on to the Visual Effects category.
