BOOM! STUDIOS ANNOUNCES SDCC 2019 EXCLUSIVE MERCH & PANEL PROGRAMMING
BOOM! Studios announced today their presence at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2019 (Booth #2229) from July 17-21 San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. The publisher, home to award-winning imprints BOOM! Studios, BOOM! Box, KaBOOM!, and Archaia, will host panels and signings throughout the weekend.
BOOM! Studios presents ENTERTAINMENT IS LGBTQ, in partnership with GLAAD, on Thursday, 7/18, for an in-depth conversation on LGBTQ respresentation in pop culture, and BOOM! STUDIOS: DISCOVER YOURS, where an all-star group of comic book creators discuss what’s new or exciting in the world of comics and reveal details about current and upcoming projects, on Friday, 7/19. Studios and GLAAD present an in-depth roundtable discussion about LGBTQ representation in pop culture and the path forward to a brighter, more inclusive future, with special guests from all corners of the entertainment world including author Lilah Sturges (The Magicians: Alice’s Story, Lumberjanes), actor/comedian Zachary Barack (Spider-Man: Far From Home), author Sina Grace (Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers, Ghosted in LA), artist Noah Hayes (The Avant-Guards), Megan Townsend (Director of Entertainment Research & Analysis, GLAAD), and more.
