NEWS WATCH: Dark Horse and Ubisoft Announces SKULL AND BONES: SAVAGE STORM #1

Dark Horse announces a new series coming from a collaboration with video game company, Ubisoft. The title, Skull and Bones: Savage Storm, which will be co-written by John Jackson Miller and James Mishler with art by Christian Rosada and color by Roshan Kurichiyanil. Cover art for issue one is done by Pius Bak. 

Dark Horse also provided a synopsis for the series in the press release: 

A merchant vessel on the high seas is besieged by a vicious crew of pirates, but the fighting is interrupted by a devastating typhoon. When the storm crashes in, it leaves predator and prey stranded on an island somewhere in the Indian Ocean. Discover the mysteries and danger that will betide them all. A gritty story set in the merciless world of Ubisoft’s upcoming pirate game.

Skull and Bones: Savage Storm is not the first adaption of a Ubisoft property, as the company has made a major shift into other mediums. The company is behind Apple TV+’s Mythic Quest along with Lionsgate, the feature film Werewolves Within, and has multiple upcoming adaptations, including an Assassin’s Creed live action series. Skull and Bones: Savage Storm is also set for a live action adaptation

The series will board comic stores November 21, 2022 and is available for pre-order at your local comic shop.
