NEWS WATCH: DC Comics Announces 6 issue WONDER WOMAN Black & Gold Mini

Wonder Woman joins Batman and Superman with her own two color palette mini this summer with WONDER WOMAN: Black & Gold #DCComics #WonderWomanblackandgold #WW80thanniversary

DC is continuing their 80th anniversary of Wonder Woman, the only female character to have continuous publication since her debut, with a brand new anthology miniseries Wonder Woman Black & Gold in the same vein as Batman’s Black & White, and Superman’s Blue & Red, continuing the two color palette theme they’ve been running with.

Creative teams we can expect to see in the anthology as revealed by NEWASRAMA include qoute”

Wonder Woman series writer Becky Cloonan (who also draws) “weaves a spine-tingling tale of Diana’s most precious weapon against the darkness.”

Amy Reeder writes and draws a story that “takes us back to the Golden Age for a fun romp co-starring Etta Candy.”

Writer AJ Mendez Brooks and artist Ming Doyle “travel to Themyscira for a tense family reunion.”

And finally, writer Nadia Shammas and artist Morgan Beem “show us a story of Diana’s past failures come to haunt her.”

Wonder Woman: Black and Gold #1 features covers by Jen Bartel, Ramona Fradon,

, and Joshua Middleton.

as well as some art:

DC has stated that their choice for her color choices were because of her iconic lasso. The mini is scheduled to drop on June 22nd.
