The Batman Who Laughs stands victorious, and the Earth has been enveloped by the Dark Multiverse, leaving the landscape of the DCU as Dark Nights: Death Metal, set to be explored in the upcoming one-shots Dark Nights: Death Metal Legends of the Dark Knights #1 and Dark Nights: Death Metal Guidebook #1.
These upcoming installments of the storyline which began in Dark Nights: Metal and continued through Batman: Last Knight on Earth from the creative team of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. The Justice League now finds themselves at the mercy of the Batman Who Laughs as humanity struggles to survive in a hellish landscape twisted beyond recognition. If this wasn’t bad enough, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman find themselves separated and fight to survive.
The events of Dark Nights: Death Metal #1 set the stage and world for this final seven-monster-issue tour! Now, as the Batman Who Laughs and his army of Dark Knights rule the planet, their plans involve wreaking havoc on humanity and raining destruction on the world.
