The Walmart-Exclusive DC line of comic are adding new titles and new material to the classics you already love
The Flash 100-page and Swamp Thing 100-page are two new monthly titles that will be added to the DC comic lineup of four series that are currently selling at Walmarts across the country. Like the other four titles in the lineup The Flash and Swamp Thing will both have a combination of all new exclusive content and classic stories from DC’s archives reprinted for new and veteran readers alike.
Gail Simone and Clayton Henry will be bringing new tales of heroism in The Flash while reprints of the 2011 Flash series by Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato, 2004’s Adam Strange by Andy Diggle and Pasqual Ferry and the 2012 Shazam! reboot by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank. New adventures of horror and suspense in Swamp Thing will be brought by Tim Seeley and Mike Perkins with feature reprints of the 2011 Swamp Thing and Animal Man series — by Scott Snyder, Yanick Pacquette, Jeff Lemire and Travel Foreman — with the 2006 Shadowpact series by Bill Willingham.
DC is also switching it up a little with two of the existing series being retitled and renumbered from Teen Titans 100-Page Giant and Justice League 100-Page Giant to Titans 100-Page Giant No. 1 and Wonder Woman 100-Page Giant No. 1. Each of these titles will continue the original storylines that they began with.
