Writer of the Harley Quinn ongoing title Sam Humphries has just revealed that the long running series will be coming to an end with the release of Harley Quinn #75.
This Harley Quinn series began under the Rebirth initiative at DC in 2016 under prominent Harley creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner with art by Chad Hardin before Sam Humphries came on board with HARLEY QUINN #45 in 2018 which brought the character to Apokolips.
Now thirty issues later, the series will be coming to an end. The writer took to Twitter to confirm the news…

“Hey y’all, I’m hammer-smashing the embargo to break the news that HARLEY QUINN is OVER with issue 75! FINAL ISSUE! No worries and no tears, this has been the plan for almost a year, and we’re celebrating with one Harley’s biggest issues OF ALL TIME! (cover by @GuillemMarch)
Humphries went on to say that “This is a happy ending for all — I’m moving on to some very cool secret projects (no hints) and Harley is moving on to one of my favorite creators AND people (no hints). Perfect occasion for a new number one. And I’m absolutely thrilled about where Harley is headed.”
While there has been no other information released yet regarding what’s next for Harley Quinn, Humphries did confirm that Poison Ivy will be involved in some way in HARLEY QUINN #75 so there is still plenty to be excited for!
