All good things must come to an end; such is the situation for two of DC Comics limited series: Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane.
The two series, which launched in July 2019, were planned as twelve-issue limited series, which means that the final issues to land on the shelf on June 2020. Don’t worry as there’s still plenty of stories to tell! Superman: Villains, the one-shot out this week, contains stories from both creative teams and three more issues each between now and June.
DC’s Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane have explored and opened new corners of the DC universe introducing new characters like the Kiss of Death and welcoming back fan-favorites like Dex-Starr.
As the two series approach their triumphant final issues, the Daily Planet is on the ropes. Jimmy learns something about it that’ll change everything forever. At the end of multiple investigations, Lois finds herself with the power to change—or destroy—the lives of everyone involved.
This may be the end for the story for now, for the two people closest to Clark Kent (and, by default, Superman), but who knows what the future holds only time will tell.
