From a statement released by Diamond Comic Distributors earlier today, this week’s NCBD availability at your local comic shop has been moved up to today, Tuesday the 17th due to impacts from the COVID-19 virus.
“Please be advised that – to give you the best possible opportunity to realize sales before your local quarantine policies compel you to curtail your hours or close down – all product on sale March 18 may be sold immediately upon receipt. Please note that this exception is in effect for this week only.”
Diamond is apparently also suspending its Secret Shopper service for the next four weeks. While local comic shops have been advised to allow sales of this weeks books, it seems as the schedule for digital comics has not been changed.
