Image Comics/Top Cow Productions rumbles with excitement over Zack Kaplan’s upcoming sci-fi series, Metal Society, with art by Guilherme Balbi, colors by Marco Lesko, and letters by Troy Peteri.
On the heels of the animated Metal Society trailer unveiled earlier this month, the publisher gives fans a double reveal as with Metal Society’s 1:25 variant cover alongside a seven page sneak preview.
This cover is not only by legendary artist Marc Silvestri, CEO of Top Cow and Co-Founder of Image, but also by the great Mexican colorist Alex Sinclair—known for his work on Batman Hush and The Flash, often collaborating with Jim Lee and Scott Williams. These iconic creators come together to work on this powerful piece for Zack Kaplan’s new sci-fi series just in time for Image Comics’ 30th Anniversary excitement.
Set in an inverted future, Metal Society follows a society where evolved robots have resurrected humans for manual labor. When a tribalistic cultural clash breaks out, a fearless human fighter and a frustrated, displaced robot will square off in a public MMA-style sport fight of epic stakes to determine once and for all who reigns supreme: man or machine.
See if the human or robot will reign supreme in Metal Society #1 when it lands in comic shops on Wednesday, May 5. All covers are available for pre-order on PREVIEWS’ PullBox:
