NEWS WATCH: Frank Herbert’s Dune to be Reissued in new Hard Cover this October

There is a great deal of buzz around the upcoming remake of Herbert’s Dune by Denis Villeneuve next year. However, lovers of the book are in for a treat as ACE Hardcover will be releasing a brand new hardcover version this October.

As exclusively revealed by the Hollywood Reporter the new hardcover will feature a forward by Herbert’s son Brian Herbert and will quote: includes stained edges, fully illustrated endpapers, a world map of Arrakis.

Herbert’s 1965 sprawling sci-fi epic novel about ecology, political machinations, and intrigue all for control of the most precious substance in the galaxy which is the key to power is one of the greatest pieces of complex world-building ever written and has spawned a whole series of sequels and spin-off novels as well several screen adaptions including one in 1984 by David Lynch.
