NEWS WATCH: Gail Simone and David Baldeon Assemble Domino: The Hotshots this March

Get ready for an all-new team of dangerous ladies as Gail Simone and David Baldeon bring us Domino: Hot Shots

The five-issue series will kick off in March and feature not only mutantdom’s most lucky lady Domino alongside Outlaw and Diamondback of her original Posse but also the deadly spider that is the Black Widow Natasha Romanov, South Korean super agent Ami Han known as the White Fox and a character known only as Atlas Bear.

What this international pack of very capable ladies will actually get up to remains to be seen. However, for a little more insight, artist R.B. Silva who we know is doing cover one for the series was teasing some of the cover layouts on Instagram and based on that we can infer (if he is doing the rest) that we will be seeing Deadpool somewhere along the line in the series which given Simone’s success with the character when she wrote him and his ties to Domino is not really a surprise but the image below seems to confirm his involvement

in an interview Simone gave AIPT she said quote:

“Domino feels she has to grow up a little, and some of the new agents have virtually NO sense of humor. And they find an object that is something very close to the heart of the entire Marvel Universe,” said Simone. “The only problem is EVERYBODY wants it. We’re having a blast. It’s Domino, but with a bunch of the coolest characters in comics, kicking international covert butt and taking names. Best of all, it’s drawn by the incredible David Baldeon. This is the stuff I most love writing, and David is THE guy to draw it all and make it brilliant. I couldn’t be happier. Where do we go from here? THE HOTSHOTS AIN’T TELLING.”

We will find out this March when Domino: Hot Shots #1 goes on sale!

Don’t forget to look out for our review of this series when it hits shelves next year.
