The Gold Lantern, one of the newest members to the Legion of Super-Heroes is set to make his long-awaited feature debut following his cameo appearance in the sold-out Legion of Super-Heroes #6 (which DC is rushing back to press for a second printing) by Brian Michael Bendis.
The character has been teased by Bendis since the beginning of the new series. will finally be featured in the upcoming Legion of Super-Heroes #7, featuring art by artist Ryan Sook, who helped design the new character along with a 1:25 variant cover.
Gold Lantern is an interesting addition to not only the Legion mythos but also to the Green Lantern history. All that is know of this character presently is that he, like the other new recruits has a dark secret. The other mystery is reason he was brought into the Legion’s and how he fits into the overall goal of bringing the values of the Age of Heroes to the 31st century.
Legion of Super-Heroes #7 lands on shelves July 28, 2020.
