Black Widow might be the movie we all want and more if it gets a R rating.
“If the experiment goes horribly wrong they have a woman to blame for it which is what this studio wanted.” is what, according to the Hollywood gossip site Crazy Days & Nights, Marvel Studios is thinking in regards to the rating of the Black Widow movie to be.
Cate Shortland will direct while Scarlett Johansson has confirmed to reprise her as the Avenger deadliest member. Even though Kevin Feige has shut down any thought that Black Widow would be a rated R movie in the past, the question has come up once again if the film should garner such a brand. With the success of movies like Deadpool and Logan the idea of Black Widow being rated R is sounding better and better by the day to Marvel Studios and to be honest it makes a lot of sense considering the character is know for a surgical fighting style that is primarily used in her espionage and assassinations missions.
Yes this is little more then a rumor on a gossip site at the moment but how long before this becomes a reality. This could be the perfect opportunity for the Marvel cinematic universe to expand into a more adult space and start to bring in some of Marvel comics darker characters.
