August solicits are upon us mutant lovers and there’s a lot going on! EXCALIBUR, NEW MUTANTS are conspicuous in their absence from the lineup, and with X-FACTOR’S cancellation that’s bound to make some people nervous but we have officially confirmed that they are merely on a skip month. The same applies to S.W.O.R.D which is also not in the lineup but not to worry AL EWING is VERY busy in the 616 with GOTG, the new DEFENDERS series, and bringing us original flavor CABLE in a FINAL ANNIHILATION tie-in one-shot so I wouldn’t be too concerned at all. The TRIAL OF MAGNETO kicks off this month and while there’s a heartbreaking goodbye as COTA. The newly relaunched flagship X-MEN title is on issue #2 (check those covers out!) while DAZZLER seems to have very much joined the WAY OF X line up along with (SPOILERS) Onslaught!?? In the HELLIONS the TARN & THE LOCUS VILE return! BANSHEE and TEMPO get to join the MARAUDERS as SELENE and MASTERMIND step onto the board in X-CORP.
