Image announces that The Mighty, from Peter J Tomasi, Keith Champagne, Chris Samnee, and Peter Snejbjerg will receive a new collected edition through the publisher this coming September. This new collected edition will include the full 12-issue run, rare eight-page stories, and behind-the-scenes scripts and sketches.
The book was previously published through DC Comics in 2009 and follows the story of a police detective Gabriel Cole investigating the plans and origins of the world’s only superhero, Alpha One. The book was also being eyed for a film adaptation by Paramount back in 2015, but there have been no updates on the status of the project.
The Mighty trade paperback will be available on Wednesday, September 28, and in bookstores on Tuesday, October 4. It can be pre-ordered at your local comic book shop and independent bookstore, and will also be available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.
