NEWS WATCH; Jeff Lemire Revives SWEET TOOTH at DC!

Jeff Lemire has announced that he is reviving his highly popular series Sweet Tooth DC Comics.

Lemire tweeted the news, saying “It is happening again…that candy bar you liked is going to come back in style,” along with new art, seen here.

The series ran for 40 issues from 2009 to 2013 through DC’s Vertigo imprint.

This comes hot on the heels of the news that SWEET TOOTH has been picked up by NETFLIX for a series produced by Robert Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey. Actors Will Forte and James Brolin are attached to the project.
