NEWS WATCH: Joseph Kosinski Tapped to Direct ‘CHARIOT’ Graphic Novel Adaptation

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Joseph Kosinski to direct ‘Chariot’ Graphic Novel Adaptation for Warner Bros.! 

Warner Bros. won an auction to adapt the graphic novel Chariot by Brian Edward Hill & Priscilla Petraities from Artists, Writers, & Artisans, and they’ve tapped the director of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Joseph Kosinski, and written by Julian Meiojas (Jack Ryan, the Flash), Shawn Levin and Dan Cohen are joining Kosinski to produce, and Zack Studin to executive produce the film.

Chariot is a 80’s synth-pop sci-fi thriller about a Cold-War era secret government project called Chariot, that produces an out of this world sports car that is a state of the art weapon unlike anything seen at that time. It sank into the ocean, and was found by a petty thief trying to go straight, but realize that the agent’s consciousness still controls the car.

Chariot is the brainchild of Bryan Edward-Hill (Top Cow’s Postal, DC’s Batman & the Outsiders) and Priscilla Petraities (Image Comic’s Rat Queens), This is the first feature film from ‘AWA’, but the company promises there are more to come.
