While no other information regarding the new film in the works has been released, Jackpot is a hero often appearing in Spider-Man comics with two notables persons assuming the role named Sara Ehret and Alana Jobson. Sara Ehret made their first appearance in the Free Comic Book Day 2007 (Spider-Man) #1 – Swing Shift issue from Dan Slott and Phil Jimenez and Alana Jobson appeared first in The Amazing Spider-Man #546 (January 2008).
This is another way for Sony to try and capitalize on the huge success that was Venom and the highly anticipated Morbius movies starring Jared Leto, Sony is banking on Guggenheim’s comic past to keep leading their box office surge!
