NEWS WATCH: MARVEL TV to Shut Down.

As Joseph Loeb is set to depart from Marvel at the end of the year, and Kevin Feige will be adding Chief Creative Officer for Marvel Comics, Television, and Animation to his resume. Changes are coming to Marvel. Feige is also the President of Marvel Studios.

It is being reported that Marvel Television is being phased out. At least in the form that we currently see it.  Marvel TV shows that are currently in production or in post-production will continue, but any pre-production development has been canceled. It is reported that this results in a large portion of employees will be laid off.  Marvel TV’s Karim Zriek along with his team is set to join Marvel Studios group to oversee the continuing shows.

As time goes on we can assume that current running shows will be canceled. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is heading to its last season on ABC, Cloak and Dagger canceled after two seasons. No current running shows on Netflix. WandaVison along with The Falcon and The Winter Solider on Disney plus is set to continue.
