Variety has reported that NBC is working on a spin-off of the fan favorite supernatural series Grimm. Original Grimm executive producers Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner will also executive produce the as yet untitled spin-off. The new show will feature some returning characters from the original as well as creating brand new ones. The show is expected to follow along the lines of the mythology set up in Grimm which racked up more than 120 episodes during its 6 year run on NBC. The new show will purportedly feature a female lead. No word as yet when the new series might air.
On the superhero front, The CW has released the first poster for their big crossover event “Elseworlds” which will be introducing Batwoman to the Arrowverse. The event kicks off December 9 and this year will be just 3 parts limited to Supergirl, Flash, and Arrow with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow sitting it out. It’s also been reported that we will be seeing a black Superman suit as the Son of Krypton will be featured in the story.
