Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group announces it will be releasing Dan McDaid’s debut graphic novel Dega. McDaid will write, illustrate, and letter the graphic novel, which was previously self-published before this edition being published by Oni. Hitting comic book stores January 10, 2023, the graphic novel details a high-concept, sci-fi story in which a female astronaut struggles to keep her sanity while mining on an alien planet.

I’ve watched with mounting excitement as the superlative team at Oni Press have shepherded my graphic novel from self-published sleeper sensation to its lavish new form,” McDaid says. “If you’ve read Dega before, get ready to see it in a whole new way. Simon & Schuster will be issuing the hardcover for the title, which features an additional 14 pages of extensive production notes by McDaid.
