Netflix and Dark Horse comics have come together to bring Victor Santos hit comic series, started in 2009, Polar: Came from the Cold to life. The movie will be available for streaming on January 25 only on Netflix. Directed by Jonas Akerlund (Lords of Chaos) and screenplay by Jayson Rothwell, “Polar” will stars the ever imposing Mads Mikkelsen as the main character Duncan Vizla, aka Kaiser Black and also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Katheryn Winnick, Matt Lucas, Ruby O. Fee, Fei Ren, Anthony Grant, Josh Cruddas, Robert Maillet, Julian Richings, Johnny Knoxville and Richard Dreyfuss.
“Polar”, not to be mixed up with Arctic another movie starring Mads Mikkelsen coming out this February is the story of international hit-man Kaiser Black as he is forced out of retirement after an assassination attempt is made on his life. Now the worlds top assassin must prove his worth once more as the firm he works for see him as a liability. Fighting against his will he has to contend with an onslaught of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced and earn the reward on his head.
