In breaking news earlier today from Variety, it was announced that Robert Pattinson will dawn the famous cape and cowl in a trilogy of movies from director Matt Reeves, the first of which is set to release June 25, 2021. Pattinson was an early front runner to play Gotham’s favorite son due to Reeves’ direction of the films which portrays Batman in his early crime-fighting career, and will not pick up where Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman left off. Pattinson joins a myriad of actors to play the Dark Knight, not to mention the immense scrutiny of playing the beloved character, now he gets to join the conversation of the world’s most asked question…
