Skybound announces that Mac Smith’s hit Webtoons series, Scurry, will be collected for the first time and lead a new wave of Middle-Grade graphic novels. The series focuses on a young scout mouse named Wix, who has to traverse strange lands and a perilous path to return home and survive a world where humans have suddenly disappeared.
Skybound Comet Senior Editor Alex Antone says about the book “This stunningly beautiful book looks like nothing else on your middle-grade shelf, and Wix’s roller-coaster adventure will have young readers on the edge of their seats from start to finish!”
Scurry is also leading the second wave of graphic novels for the newly launched imprint, Skybound Comet, with an eye toward Young Adult and Middle-Grade readers. The imprint’s line-up begins with Clementine Book One by Tillie Walden, which will be on shelves June 28, 2022. Scurry will be followed by books such as Outpost Zero from Sean Kelley McKeever and Alexandre Tefenkgi, Ava’s Demon Book One: Reborn from Michelle Fus, and Clementine Book Two from Tillie Walden.
Fans of Wix don’t have to wait long to see the character make their way into the Skybound line, as the mouse will also make a first-time appearance in the upcoming Skybound X #25, available in comic shops and at digital providers on July 20, 2022.

Scurry will hit comic book stores and book retailers on February 21, 2023, along with digital platforms.
