Allision Mack who played Chloe Sullivan on Smallville for the series entire run pleads guilty to two federal counts. Mack was arrested last April in connection with NXIVM sex cult scandal. Charges of Sex Trafficking, conspiracy of sex trafficking along with Forced Labor. It is reported that she has been part of the cult since 2010.
Vulture reports that Mack told the court “I have come to the conclusion that I must take full responsibility for my conduct and that’s why I am pleading guilty today.” It’s reported that she has pleaded guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy and one count of racketeering.
The Founder of NXIVM Keith Raniere is charged with sex trafficking and possessing child pornography. Mack told the court “I joined NXIVM … to find purpose […] I truly believed I found a group of individuals who believed as I did. I believed Keith Raniere’s intentions were to help people. I was wrong.”
NXIVM states they are an Executive Success Program. It was reported they target women. Mack took a plea deal as she originally pleaded not guilty. Which if found guilty would have resulted in 15 years to life in prison. At this time there is no mention of what the current plea deal contains.
