NEWS WATCH: The Final Member of Steve Orlando’s MARAUDERS has Finally Been Revealed

Last week the creative team for the upcoming MARAUDERS series during The Second Age of Krakoa was announced but left a cliffhanger as to who the last member of the team will be, but now the identity of the last Marauder has been revealed as CASSANDRA NOVA.

As Steve Orlando and artist Eleonara Carlini embark on this new era of MARAUDERS, Cassandra Nova Xavier, the twisted twin sister of Professor Xavier, who was introduced during Grant Morrison’s revolutionary early 2000s run on NEW X-MEN, where she orchestrated the deadliest crime in mutantkind history and left the X-Men’s world in chaos, will be helping the Marauders untangle a mystery rooted in the earliest days of mutantkind, but do they dare trust her?

In a press release from Marvel, Steve Orlando who will be captaining the seafaring mutants had to say about this addition to the team:

“Cassandra Nova Xavier is back, with the same malicious mind and murderous hands as ever! But how much has she changed since her last run in with the X-Men? Pryde and the Marauders have no choice but to find out, since Cassandra’s only one who can lead them to mutantkind’s earliest ancestors — a mystery two billion years old. She’s little bit Xavier, a little bit Catherine Trammel, and the Marauders’ only hope for success.”
