X-Men fans, having barely digested the news that Jonathan Hickman will be writing not one but two upcoming X-books called the House of X and the Power of X (said as the power of ten) In general this news has been greeted with a vast amount of enthusiasm by fans across various social media platforms when it was revealed at C2E2 recently. However, X- followers may want to strap themselves in for an interesting ride.
While it has been revealed that several key points in X history may be referenced for the upcoming story in previous reports accompanied by an amazing and somewhat confusing piece of promo art by the very talented Mark Brooks that has multiple characters, duplicate characters as well as some characters that appear to be amalgamations of several characters on it. Well things have taken a twist with Hickman taking to social media to reveal some of those plot lines like AVX will be addressed but not in the way most fans would think, Hickman, revealed that he fully intends to paint the X-Men as the guilty party and will have them apologize to the Avengers and admit full culpability as part of his storyline! Of course, if you believe that you’ll believe Cyclops’s eyebeams are heat based…Happy April First…
