NEWS WATCH: Travis Knight to direct Mark Wahlberg in the Six Billion Dollar Man!

Travis Knight, the mastermind behind the highly successful Bumblebee movie has been chosen to bring the long-awaited adaptation of the 70’s classic sci-fi show, The Six Billion Dollar Man to the big screen. Now you may be asking yourself, wasn’t Lee Majors, the Six Million Dolar Man? And yes…yes he was. Our only guess is the movie studio is taking into account the possible inflation from 1973 to 2019! The highly anticipated film has seen its share of would-be directors (Knight being number 3), but seeing how successful Bumblebee was, something tells me they’ve found their guy. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg (Transformers: The Last Knight) as Colonel Steve Austin, who, after suffering severe injuries after a crash, a successful operation sees him become part-man/part-machine. Although a soft release date of summer 2020 has been circulating, We wouldn’t run out to buy tickets just yet….
