Apple named Wolverine: The Long Night amongst their picks as one of the best podcasts of 2018 in their yearly best of which came out earlier this week. According to Marvel.com quote:
It made a list that included nonfiction storytelling, comedy, and other genres and was based on Apple’s top 25 most downloaded podcasts of the year as well as the top 25 most downloaded new podcasts of the year.
The success of the Wolverine; The Long Night has already lead to the announcement of a second original story called Wolverine: The Lost Trail as well as an actual comic book adaption of Wolverine: The Long Night adaption written by Benjamin Percy who scripted the podcast and drawn by Marcio Takara.
This is good news for a business which needs to seek out and access new audiences in new ways which include making the comics available to wider markets such as blind audiences as well.
