Zenescope Cancels 2020 VIP Event; VIP Livestream Event Announced
Zenescope Comics has announced they will be cancelling this year’s upcoming VIP ComicFest event, a convention for fans set to feature VIP guests, artists and creators for an annual celebration of VIP guests due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, they will be hosting a livestream event free for VIP members only coming this August or September. See Zenescope’s full announcement below…
We regret to announce that our 2020 VIP ComicFest Event originally scheduled for August 7th & 8th will be canceled. Due to the ongoing uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot ensure we would have an acceptable venue nor can we fully ensure the safety of our VIP guests, artists, creators or employees.
If you’re a Zenescope VIP member who has already paid for a 2020 VIP Event ticket, you have two options: you can receive a full refund OR you can opt to roll over your ticket to the 2021 VIP Event, which Zenescope plans to hold next summer with the same guest lineup plus extra creators to be announced. If you choose the rollover option, your ticket for the 2021 event will be fully guaranteed even if there is a price increase. Please contact our VIP Coordinator, Chris Samson, at vip@zenescope.com to inquire about those two options and to let him know which you would prefer (along with any other inquiries you may have).
In light of this news, the team at Zenescope is working to put together a FREE VIP Livestream Event for August or September of this year for VIP members only. We will announce more details soon!
