Matt Reeves has found his purrrfect actress to play Catwoman in his upcoming release; The Batman. Zoe Kravitz has been named to play one of the most notable roles in Batman lore.
News of the casting came over the weekend that had its share of notable applicants such as Ana de Armas, Ella Balinska, Eiza Gonzalez and Kravitz, who all read with Robert Pattinson.
With Reeves taking on what is said to be a large rogue’s gallery taking a seat in the front row, we can only speculate how Kravitz’s Catwoman will play alongside Pattinson’s Batman being both have had an on-again, off-again relationship throughout Batman’s history.
Zoe Kravitz’s resume includes roles in Such movies as Fantastic Beasts, X-Men: First Class, and Mad Max: Fury Road, as well as voicing Catwoman in The Batman Lego Movie, and Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse. The Batman is currently on track to release in 2021.
