As the upcoming DC Universe live-action series ‘Doom Patrol’ starts production, we may have our first look into which villain will be featured.
A recent casting leak from the upcoming live-action series Doom Patrol acquired by That Hashtag Show provides details on which villain fans can expect to see. The leak shows that the studio is looking for an A-list actor, 30-50, to take on the role of Mr. Nobody!
This iteration of Mr. Nobody will be seeking vengeance on the person he holds responsible for the failed experiment that caused his condition which, in addition to his insanity, has left him stuck between two dimensions. While the villains absurd and twisted methodologies will put him into the path of the Doom Patrol, he’ll come to admire the group despite a loathing for superheroes.
Eric Morden, aka Mr. Nobody, first appeared as Mr. Morden in Doom Patrol #86 of the original comic run, then he was brought back during Morrison’s now iconic Doom Patrol series in issue #26 with a substantial background and motive.
Although there isn’t much information available on the Doom Patrol series, other than it will spin out of the upcoming DC streaming platform’s first live-action series, Titans. The executive producers attached to the show are Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter.
