The Rick and Morty writer joins the production team for the next ANT-MAN installment as revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.
Jeff Loveness, who is both writer and co-producer of the highly popular Cartoon Network series, has been tapped to pen the script for the unannounced project which will be the third installment in the Ant-Man series. Loveness, who is no stranger to comics and the superhero genre, has written several comic titles including NOVA, GROOT minis for Marvel as well as the recent TALES FROM THE DARK MULTIVERSE: LOIS LANE #1 for DC and several well-received indie titles, also brings with him a history of working on comedy shows such as LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY KIMMEL. This resume may make him a very good fit for the MCU ANT-MAN series which has always featured action tempered with a very large dollop of humor.
Loveness joins director of the two previous installments Peyton Reed and Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are both expected to return in the lead roles.
