Although not entirely surprising, Netflix recently confirmed a second season of their hit anime series ‘Aggretsuko’ based on the popular Sanrio character.
That’s right, everyone’s favorite series about a death-metal loving anthropomorphic red panda, Aggretsuko, is coming back to Netflix for a second season!
Frustrated with her thankless office job, Retsuko the Red Panda copes with her daily struggles by belting out death metal karaoke after work.
The anime series from Netflix has quickly attracted a large fandom and is set to propel yet another Sanrio character to stardom. The panel where the announcement was made even came with a special appearance, much to the attending fans delight, featuring none other than the star of Aggretsuko herself!
The series stars voice actors Kaolip, Komegumi Koiwasaki, and Maki Tsuruta and while no other official information has been given, we can expect new episodes of the hit anime series to debut starting in 2019!
