A new promotional image has given fans a first look at the trio of women set to star in the sixth film in the Terminator franchise.
We have a first look at the latest Terminator film directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by James Cameron (Terminator) featuring three of the women leading the cast. Natalia Reyes as Dani Ramos, Mackenzie Davis as Grace, and Linda Hamilton as fan-favorite character Sarah Conner.
The film is reportedly set in present Mexico City where a human named Dani Ramos is hunted by a new Terminator sent from the future. This eventually unleashes the original Terminator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton into the fight, as the creative team attempts to bridge the original film with the newest entry.
Terminator 6 will also be treated as a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, effectively ignoring what occurred in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, and Terminator Genisys. James Cameron has been brought on to produce the film as a potential first entry of a trilogy focused on new characters like Dani Ramos.
With a stellar cast and a proven creative team leading the film, the latest film in the Terminator franchise has the potential to be something special for fans. Be sure to check it out when it hits theaters November 22nd, 2019!
