Rumor has it: Green Lantern maybe getting famed writer Grant Morrison and The Brave and The Bold writer/Artist Liam Sharp.
As San Diego Comic-Con is approaching us July 19th –July 22, news and rumors continue to circulate. San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is generally the hub for companies to make big announcements about Comic Books, TV Shows, and Movies. This year is not unlike any other year when it comes to possible announcements.
One announcement that was recently rumored circulates around Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp. Speculation states that they will be penning a 12-issue Green Lantern run.
If this rumor is deemed to be true it will likely be announced at SDCC 2018 and in DC Nation #3. DC Nation is a monthly newsletter that DC Comics sends out to local comic book stores every month, also available in digital format on Comixology. Both forms of DC Nation are free for consumers.
At press time this is only a rumor, but if the rumor is true, this could a big push for Green Lantern. There is currently no speculation as of the name of the project or if it will be one of the Green Lantern’s running series.
