Names like Ryan Reynolds, Halle Berry, Ben Affleck, and now Lewis Tan may all have something in common.
There is no short list to actors who have portrayed characters in both DC and Marvel Films. Halle Berry played Catwoman and Storm, one of the more famous crossovers is Ben Affleck who started his superhero career for Marvel’s Daredevil, then portrayed Batman in several DC movies. Arguably the most famous crossover would be Ryan Reynolds who started as DC’s Green Lantern, now can be seen as Deadpool. We may be adding another name to the crossover list, that name being Lewis Tan. Tan who recently played Shatterstar in Deadpool 2 may be playing DC’s Nightwing.
Tan recently visited DC headquarters and told ‘That Hashtag Show’ that he would love to play Dick Grayson. It was a topic that was discussed. He goes on to say that nothing is confirmed, that projects are still being developed and Nightwing was only one project that was mentioned during his visit.
He will remain with Marvel/Fox as well, as he is slated to reprise his role as Shatterstar in the upcoming to be made movie X-Force. He is no stranger to Marvel, as he recently had a small part on Marvel’s Netflix Show Iron Fist. He can also be seen on AMC’s Into The Badlands season 3.
