Gwen Stacy (Ghost Spider), Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake and Patriot all have something in common. They will be starring in a new animated series: Marvel Rising: Initiation.
Marvel Rising was introduced at San Diego Comic-Con panel. Marvel Rising: Initiation, which will include 6 animated shorts. Animated shorts are considered motion pictures that are not long enough to be considered a feature film.
Marvel Rising will not stop with Initiation the series is expected to coincide with the comics. A feature film called Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors will also be part of the Marvel Rising movement. The series will focus on Ms. Marvel and Squirrel girl as it does in the current running comic series Marvel Rising. Rumor has it that Captain Marvel will be making an appearance in the series.
