(Power) Man vs. the Moon Machine Headlines the First Look at TIMELESS 2023!

Marvel announced a new Timeless one-shot at this year’s Marvel: Next Big Thing panel during San Diego Comic-Con. The special sees Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing taking over writing duties from Jed MacKay, and will be joined by artist Juann Cabal. Like previous installments, this one-shot is set to introduce a dark future of the Marvel Universe, while also teasing the next year of stories that lead up to this grim future.

According to the press release, only two key figures remain from the current age of heroes; The Immortal Moon Knight and Power Man. The avatar of Khonshu has fused with StarkTech and the Eternal Machine to enslave the earth while Cage remains as the final superhero, burdened with the powers of Sentry, Hulk, and the Iron Fist. The two will battle for what remains of the Marvel Universe.

Marvel has shared a look at the designs for the two central characters, along with the Kael Ngu’s cover for the one-shot:
