More Rom is on the way after the announcement of Marvel’s new deal to reprint the classic sci-fi series. These reprints are taking the form of the Rom Omnibus Vol. 1 & Vol. 2, and this week’s Facsimile Edition of ROM #1. Alongside these two, Marvel will also highlight Rom’s interactions with the mutants in Rom and the X-Men: Marvel Tales #1 this December.
Throughout Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema’s original series for the character, he crossed paths with the likes of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and most vitally, the X-Men. For the Marvel Tales, issues #17-18 and ##1-32 will be collected, featuring stories of the mutants helping Rom fight the Dire Wraiths and then Rom fighting a group of mutant villains led by Mystique.
