Skybound has revealed a second line-up for its upcoming relaunch of Transformers, this time showcasing the Decepticons that appear in the first story arc of the title. Written and drawn by Daniel Warren Johnson and colored by Mike Spicer, Transformers #1 is set to launch this October, and help kick off the Energon Universe established in Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici’s Void Rivals #1.
The initial roster of Decepticons features Starscream, Rumble, Skywarp, Laserbeak, and Soundwave, who will come into conflict with the Autobots line-up of Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Arcee, and Wheeljack. The press release confirms that these will not be the robots in disguise that are introduced in the first story arc, and plans are already in place to introduce more.
