Where is the title character?
I am all for the bad guys having their histories revealed in a book but this took up the entire issue and we didn’t see Tony Stark/Iron Man at all. Last issue focused on Hellcat and again very little Iron Man.
For a series that seemed to be designed to bring Tony Stark to his basic roots and make him more of an everyman, it has really dropped the ball with this Korvac saga and bringing in a team of rejects to somehow help Iron Man and Hellcat.
I still don’t understand how the Avengers or Fantastic Four could not be brought in but the rejects could, if Korvac is such a threat, you need the big guns and an injured Iron Man with Frog Man or whatever he is called won’t do it.
I like Iron Man as a character but am finding it really difficult to continue with this series. Unless I see an improvement, it will become a trade paperback comic for me rather than a monthly series.
