THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #25
After 24 issues, a clone-centric event and some crossovers, the Amazing Spider-Man team is joined by Kaare Andrews to tell what happened between the end of Spider-Man: Beyond and Amazing Spider-Man #1. An obscure Spider-Man villain trapped Spider-Man and Mary Jane in an alternate dimension, and MJ sacrificed her safety to drop Peter back into the main universe. Spider-Man breaks into the Baxter building to get back to MJ, burning bridges with the larger superhero community in the process. Norman Osborne is the only person he can turn to in his time of need, and on returning to the alternate dimension, it’s revealed a year has passed, and MJ is now a mother.

SPIDER-MAN 2099: DARK GENESIS #2
Nueva York learns the hard lesson that ‘Carnage Rules’ as the villainous symbiote finds a new host in the cyberpunk city of 2099. Miguel O’Hara will have to look beyond just himself and work with other heroes, both new and established, to battle Carnage. Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and Blade are just a few of the heroes joining the fight that feels like a dystopian riff on Maximum Carnage.
