Hot on the heels of the most recent issues, Skybound released a first look at the upcoming Transformers #8. Continuing the new arc of the hit series, the preview teases the return of a popular Decepticon to the flourishing Energon Universe. Issue #8, which features writing by Daniel Warren Johnson with artwork by Jorge Corona, coloring from Mike Spicer, and lettering by Rus Wooton, is set to arrive on shelves in May. The newest installment sees the Autobots and Decepticon’s recuperating and rebuilding their ranks after the climactic battle of the first arc.
Alongside the preview of the interior pages, Skybound also revealed the main cover, illustrated by Johnson and Spicer. Variant covers for the issue were also shared, including those by Jorge Corona and Spicer, Karen S. Darboe, Ethan Young, and Paul Azacet.
