Skybound and Image Comics revealed a first look at the upcoming sophomore arc of Transformers with issue #7. Written by Daniel Warren Johnson, the second story arc sees artist Jorge Corona joining the creative team on art. Rounding out the creative cast is colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Rus Wooton, carrying over from the first arc. When the issue launches in April, the book will see a schism in the Decepticons as Starscream and Soundwave vie for power.
A first look at the cover line-up for Transformers #7 was also released, including Johnson and Spicer’s main cover. Artists such as Karen S. Darboe, Caspar Wijngaard, and Taurin Clarke provided variants for the issue, which can be seen below.
