Marvel announced yesterday that Deadpool and Wolverine are teaming up in a series of back-up stories this summer, just in time for the dysfunctional duo to hit the screen. The story, “Weapon X-Traction,” features writing by Ryan North and art by Javier Garrón and kicks off in July’s Incredible Hulk #14. The story then jumps across 7 other titles throughout Marvel’s publishing line.
Alongside the announcement, Marvel also revealed promotional art for the story, which can be seen below.
WEAPON X-TRACTION kicks off when a weary Wolverine runs into a clingy Deadpool at a favorite watering hole. From this humble beginning, they embark on an epic journey of non-friendship that will carry them across the multiverse, battling zombies and gun-wielding librarians and of course one another!
