Marvel unveiled a look at the newest variant cover for the upcoming Wolverine: Revenge limited series. The book, which marks Greg Capullo’s return to Marvel and Jonathan Hickman’s return to an X-adjacent title, sees Wolverine battling a full rogues gallery. Revenge will also be Marvel’s next Red Band series, allowing the creative team to unleash total carnage. To commemorate the issue, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau will illustrate a variant cover, which can be seen below.
In the preview with Polygon, Capullo spoke about returning to Marvel, stating:
“I’ve finally returned home to Marvel, and I’m ready to raise some Hell. And, who better to do that with than the Hitman Hickman? To celebrate, Marvel has removed the fences and let us off our leash so that we can bring the most vicious and punishing Wolverine story possible to the fans this summer. I hope they’re prepared.”
